The conditions for granting enhanced user privileges have changed and now require much more stringent vetting. Please read below:

• This need must be technical in nature (i.e. not for personal preference or convenience) and must be conducive to advancing research and education at UNT.
• All software installed on UNT-owned devices must be approved by IT Compliance via the Technology Acquisition Questionnaire (TAQ) process (more info about TAQ is available here).
  • To safeguard this policy, we are no longer granting enhanced user privileges for the purposes of installing software.
• Having enhanced privileges on one computer does not automatically qualify you for that privilege on another computer.

• If your request is approved, you will be required to pass the Enhanced User Privileges Quiz. Upon successful completion of the quiz, our team will apply enhanced user privileges to your computer and contact you with further steps.
